Game 1 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday, June 8. All games will begin at 8:00 PM ET. The Florida Panthers, who once seemingly had control of the series, will try for a third time to wrap up their first NHL championship. The Oilers, led by captain and three-time NHL MVP Connor McDavid, have won two straight games to force a Game 6. McDavid was the driving force for the Oilers in Game 5, scoring two goals and adding two assists. He now has 13 points in the series. The Panthers lost in the Stanley Cup Final last year to the Vegas Golden Knights, who defeated them in five games. Mark Stone led the way for the Golden Knights with a hat-trick in Game 5.
